goddamn girl.

(via libraryofobscuretexts)

A beautiful young woman strides down the sidewalk alone, head down, hands drawn into fists. She’s walking fast, darting around huge men with black cameras thrusting at her mouth and chest. “Kristen, how do you feel?” “Smile Kris!” “Hey, hey, did you get her?” “I got her. I got her!” The young woman doesn’t cry. Fuck no. She doesn’t look up. She’s learned. She keeps her head down, her shades on, fists in her pockets. Don’t speak. Don’t look. Don’t cry.
Jodie Foster, a former childhood actress herself, sticks up for Kristen Stewart in a piece up on the site today. “If I were a young actor today I would quit before I started,” she writes. “If I had to grow up in this media culture, I don’t think I could survive it emotionally.” Media, we suck sometimes. Let’s cut this girl a break, eh? (via newsweek)

And the bullshit begins.

Ugh seriously. I legit like Kristen Stewart more now. I mean, not that I’m pro-adultery, but because she’s such a real flawed messed-up honest person, and I like her.

Procrastination Theatre: June 9, 2012

Probably a must-see for any serious Michael Shannon enthusiast. Also, this is more Dakota Fanning’s movie than Kristen Stewart’s, which is too bad, because I actually do like Kristen Stewart because of her sheer lack of commitment to likeability. Also watch for a criminally underused Alia Shawkat.

For Mia. I don’t hate her either - I mean really, she was pretty good in Adventureland. And this is a super cute gif.

Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfried, Rebecca Hall, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood & Anna Kendrick - Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue by Annie Leibovitz, March 2010

One: I love Carey Mulligan’s impish face here. Now someone tell the girl that she needs to always dress and act like Jenny in An Education because when she does, she’s stunning, and when she doesn’t, she looks somewhat like me when I was 5 and kept giving myself boy haircuts. And stand straight, for God’s sake - no one likes a sloucher.
Two: Mia Wasikowska is just phenomenal-looking. I can’t wait to see Alice in Wonderland.
Three: I love that Evan Rachel Wood is clearly just beyond the level of celebrity that the other girls in the photograph have. Her expression is wonderfully arch and aggressive and cocky. And you know I love that in a girl.
